Tom Heckman
Joined Summer 2023; Co-Assistant Director. Received a Computer Science degree from WVU IN 2003, but have been playing video games as a hobby for the majority of my life. My goals are to learn as much as I can by sharing my knowledge base and also learning about what others have learned during the game development cycle.
Joshua Robinson
Joined Spring 2023; I am an alumnus of WVU's Computer and Electrical Engineering program and help with troubleshooting support as much as possible for the game program. I teach Unity game engine-based development classes for the University. In addition to code, I also enjoy writing stories and dabbling in art and music.
Jared Hall
Joined Fall 2023; I am an WVU alumnus of Computer Science with a Minor in Creative Writing. My dream is to utilize both of my skills as a writer and programmer and make RPGs that invite the player to explore a different world, get involved with the characters, and hopefully walk away from the experience with something they didn't have before.
Cadence Kline
Joined Summer 2024; I am a WVU GDIM major specializing in art and design but looking to continue expanding my skills. I love the process of creating and working with others to build meaningful experiences and can't wait to grow as a creator!
Brodey Cook
Joined Summer 2024; GDIM program junior at WVU. Since I was younger I've enjoyed coming up with unique stories and ideas, and video games are a passion of my that I am able funnel that creative outlet through. I'm excited to move forward and work together with everyone at MonRiverGames to make some great projects!
Hayden Monday
Joined Summer 2024; I work mainly with Unreal Engine and Blender. I like to use ProCreate for 2D art (sprites, textures, etc). I have been pursuing game development for the past five years. Some of my favorite games are Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Cat Quest, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Uncharted, and Star Wars: Jedi: Survivor.

Joined Summer 2024; studying Music Composition at WVU. I'm working to develop my skills as a composer and audio engineer by creating my own music and implementing it into media such as video games and movies
