March 2025 Trailer
An Intro
This project was pitched by WVU students (early in the undergrad years) Joshua Hinkle and Cadence Kline to MonRiverGames in the Summer 2024 pitch competition and was one of two winners. It's interesting two player mechanics and quirky, silly story won us over. Follow their development blog to keep up to date on their process. They demo'd a build for the first time during the 2024 BitBridge Halloween Showcase and then again during Demo Day at WVU. At GDC Play 2025, their peers voted to let their game be the representative work of West Virginia University's Game Design and Interactive Media MonRiverGames Table. From the feedback they received on their demo there, they polished their vertical slice up. Now, as seniors of the program, they are finally around the Alpha stage of their development cycle and getting ready to create many more levels for a fully developed version. They submitted their in progress Alpha to the 2026 Independent Game Festival in the student category.
