It’s no secret that cats are often elusive pets, so it’s not a difficult task to sneak away. Their missions can take them anywhere from the city streets, desert climates, famous museums, or maybe even inside your home itself. The spy cats have to have to use their many skills to complete their missions, including jumping across difficult terrain, avoiding enemies, and finding clues. Spy Cats is the most recent game we have developed here at MonRiverGames, and we are very excited to share it with you soon! Each level was created by an individual student in the Fall 2022 session, and development progress can be viewed on our last blog post. Students were challenged to come up with their own environments, code game mechanics, as well as create and find assets to use. This allowed each level to be an unique experience, specific to whatever the student imagined cat espionage may look like to them. We hope you enjoy!
